Sustainable Livelihoods
Through vocational and business training and mentorship, we focus on equipping young and single mothers who are daily confronted with the challenges of making a liveable wage to support themselves and their families. We believe that by empowering these mothers and women, we are breaking the dependency cycle and giving them hope and dignity to thrive. In addition, our vocational students have access to the TEMO Savings Group. Established in 2015, the group was created to provide mothers with access to credit and to encourage saving to build financial capacity. The group has since seen tremendous success, with over 500 active members as of 2020.
