About Us

Hope Shine Uganda (HSU), formerly Teenage Mothers Outreach (TeMO) is a faith based, non-profit organisation founded in 2012. Our core mandate is to support vulnerable young women. By providing a safe environment, those coming from disadvantaged backgrounds can gain knowledge, cultivate new skills, and begin to flourish in society.

Hope Shine works to empower women and girls by providing them with the necessary resources and skills to make informed decisions about their lives. 

We also work to raise awareness about the issues facing teen mothers in Uganda such as access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. We work alongside other grassroot community initiatives to provide support for these young women so they can become self-reliant, achieve their dreams for a better future and realize their full God-given potential.
